Summer Stock 2020

Featuring workshops taught by the same professional artists that grace ETC’s stage, our summer stock camps offer children ages 7–18 an unforgettable collaborative experience while exploring acting techniques including improv, auditioning, script analysis, and acting for the camera. Registration opens December 2, 2019.

Jr. Summer Stock (ages 7–15) •

Camp dates: July 6–17, 2020 • 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Performances: TBD

For those who love being in the spotlight, this two-week performance camp will explore acting techniques including Improv, Acting for the Camera, Auditioning, Script break-down, Technical Theatre, and Design. Participants will rehearse and produce a full production of an age-appropriate script to be presented for friends and family in the Charles and Lucille Carothers Theatre.

High School Summer Stock (ages 13–18)

Camp dates: July 20–24, 2020 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Showcase: TBD

For serious actors with the intent to continue in the craft of acting, this one-week training camp will instill the best acting habits with classes and workshops focusing on Improv, Script Analysis, Acting for the Camera, Auditioning for Musical Theatre, Film and Acting, Movement, and more! This acting intensive camp will culminate with a showcase of scenes and monologues to be presented for friends and family in the Charles and Lucille Carothers Theatre.

Registration opens December 2, 2019.

 

High School Technical Theatre Intensive (ages 13–18) • 

Camp dates: July 13–17, 2020 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Performances: TBD

For those who prefer to shine behind the scenes, the technical theatre intensive offers hands-on instruction, participants will gain practical experience and explore the technical areas of our theatre and craft by working on a full production. Those involved will attend a variety of classes covering subjects such as stage management, costumes, and wardrobe, lighting, sound design, scenic artistry, and carpentry.
